Choosing costume for our opening sequence may have only been a small part of what we had to think about however we did have to take into consideration what the mother and the daughter will wear in their different stages of their life. At the funeral the mother will wear all black t emphasis her sadness and mourning over lost daughter.

Task 4: inspiration from real media
Forrest Gump
We like this opening sequence due to the mise en scene. You can tell that this movie is going to be drama and emotional due to the natural lighting and the happy tuned music. We liked because it had lots of details and enigma codes. The fact that you can't see where the feather will land, has helped to create a mysterious atmosphere, as it engages the audience on following the feather. We liked the soft non diegetic sound, as it was really effective as there was no speaking,
The Boy In The Stripped Pajamas
we like this opening sequence as it shows so much detail by using establishing shots of real locations and close up shots of objects. We also like how cleverly the two contrast shots on one showing wealth and power and the other shot shows being inferior and less powerful. We are think that we might use it in our opening sequence.
The fault in our stars
We like this book cover as it contains lots of enigma codes. The clear use of three colours is nice and simple, but doesn't give much about the book. We also like it as there are an infinite number of ways to approach this design problem. As if some one hasn't read the book, they would have a vague idea of what the book is even about. Therefore it is both effective and emotional.

Lily's moodboard
Mood board analysis
I did this mood board using Microsoft word, I chose
different images to represent the theme of romance, in a unique way. For
example I chose a variation of images of young people and old people showing
affection for one and another to give
the Idea of ‘love never dies’.
